Preset FAQ

1. What files do the presets come in?
A: presets come as .XMP files for Lightroom Desktop

2. Do the presets work on RAW and JPEG?
A: They’re designed for RAW files (what I shoot), but they also work on JPEG — you may just need lighter adjustments depending on your camera and lighting.

3. Do they work on Lightroom Mobile?
A: no

4. Will these make my photos look exactly like yours?
A: The presets will give you my tones, colour palette, and overall feel, but every photo is unique.
Things like how it was shot, the lighting, time of day, location, and your camera settings all play a part in the final look. You’ll get the same base look I use across my campaigns, and with a few small tweaks, usually to light, shadows, white balance or exposure, you can get your images sitting in that same world.

5. How do I install the presets?

A: Your download includes a simple step-by-step PDF guide for both Mac + Windows, plus Mobile.
It takes 1–2 minutes.

6. Are the presets beginner friendly?
A: Absolutely, they’re built for all levels.
Even if you’re new, these will speed up your workflow and help you develop your own style.

8. Are the presets refundable?
A: No, digital files can’t be returned once downloaded.
Make sure to read the product page before purchasing.

A: Yes, your purchase includes permission to use the presets for personal and commercial work.

10. Can I share the presets with others?
A: No, your purchase is for one user only.
Please respect the work that went into creating them.

11. What if the download link doesn’t work?
A: Just email me (troy@freyeephotography.com) and I’ll resend it straight away.

12. Do the presets work on older versions of Lightroom?
A: They work on the latest version of Lightroom CC & most older versions are fine too, as long as they support .XMP

What is SLF TTLD?

SLF TTLD is Troy Freyee’s first coffee table book, featuring over 15 years of photography work from around the world.
The title is inspired by the self-titled debut albums Troy grew up listening to in the ‘90s.

Is this a preorder?

Yes.
This is currently available as a preorder.

Books are expected to begin shipping approximately 8 weeks from May 28, 2026.
